Couldn't we just use OCR for that?

There is nothing wrong with using OCR (optical character recognition); in fact, it is built into our software to get the best possible performance. But let me extend a bit on this issue – because there are some fine nuances that OCR-only companies tend to "forget":

Remember that bank transfers used to be instructed through hand-written forms? That's where OCR originates: Interpret hand-written letters written on the exact same layout in high volumes. The only intelligent part about it is that it could decipher a doctor's handwriting which most people couldn't.

If you are receiving the same document layout (= same template) hundreds of times each week, OCR works just as well. Set up a template once and use it until the layout is changed. But there are two traps; Trap 1: Most companies don't receive enough documents of the same layout to justify the initial investment. Trap 2: Layouts change over time.

Is it possible to train a model tailored to my processes?

Yes! This is one of the most important aspects of the software. You can define any category or label that you need right on our platform and train the system according to your needs. Above are just a wanted few examples.

Do I need data to start using the platform?

You can get started without any data and build your dataset as you go. We have an integrated labeling system as well as several pre-trained models that you can use immediately.

How can I integrate a model with my process?

We already have a few hundred integrations with other software tools. All you need to do in our app is specify where the data comes from and what should happen with the prediction – all in our visual workflow builder.

Do I have to know how to write code?

No. You can access everything without having to write a single line of code. You can access our API directly, but that is entirely optional.
